Delighted - finally made it to the Verandah very last minute on Good Friday for a fantastic lunch with Easter entertainment for the kids. Every meal tasted excellent - like they had been prepped carefully with individual seasoning and herbs. The crab spaghetti permeated seafood, the burger had a delicate seasoning paired with pickles that made it better than the usual. The calamari had the perfect peppery spice. The staff go above and beyond in their service and the number of different staff members we interacted with who all displayed their friendly attitudes made it seem like the venue must have great leadership or they’ve perhaps just struck gold on their staff ! The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed, everyone seemed to be enjoying a family get together that was either a comfortable catch up or parents entertaining their kids with barefoot bowls or the games on the greens. I loved the decor and the comfortable dining chairs. Easy parking in the shade. Can’t wait to come back !

Beautiful venue with great ambience and a really nice setup. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more disappointing. We ordered the share plate slow-cooked brisket — the presentation looked great, but the brisket itself was dry, overcooked and chewy. It was absolutely drenched in sauce, which didn’t fix the texture and honestly felt like it was trying to mask how badly it was cooked. I’ve never had brisket this bad, especially considering it’s a fatty cut — the fat should be properly rendered and the meat should be juicy, not tough. The chorizo was also overcooked and rubbery, they could honestly be used as a bat. We also tried a pasta dish, which was just average and forgettable. Such a shame — the location and ambience are excellent, and the service was good, but the food was a complete let-down. Wouldn’t return for the food.

Food is not great for a function with lots of people. I had ravioli and it was the dryest pasta I've ever eaten and was drowning in oil. Friends complained that the chicken and ham were overcooked and dry too. The entrees were okay, nothing to write home about. Service was decent, a bit slow.

Calamari was so crisp & lots of flavor with seasoning! One of the best bar snack I tried! we dropped by for a quick drink for a snack. Pork belly was so juicy and the glaze was really balanced with nice touch with a kick. I will be back for meal!

Fantastic experience, highly recommend to anyone! Staff are very welcoming and the restaurant has a cosy atmosphere. The food was top quality with good sized portions (yes I had started eating by the time the pictures were taken, whoops). The bar has a nice range of drinks and don't think I could have wanted for anything else. 👌
