Beecroft Railway Station Gardens is a pretty, well-kept garden park beside the station at Beecroft, with a playground, BBQ facilities and accessible paths. Dogs are welcome on-leash, kept clear of playgrounds and food areas, with drinking water, seating and shade on hand. It is a pleasant, convenient spot for a short walk by the village. A charming on-leash garden park.
Dogs must be on a leash in all public places unless in a designated off-leash area. Keep your dog in sight at all times. Pick up and dispose of all waste correctly. Do not let your dog rush at or harass other dogs and people. Source: Hornsby Shire Council – Off-leash dog areas (hornsby.nsw.gov.au).
Really good park. There are swings, slides (one is a dual slide), merry-go-round, wobbly bridge, etc. There is also a view of thee railway station and trains for kids who like trains. Cafes, parking and public transportation are close by. Didn’t see any amenities nearby but there might be some at the station. Some of the equipment is fairly weather damaged and discoloured and could do with replacing.
I love this Park. It's fully enclosed, which is great when you have toddlers. The equipment is also a great happy medium for people with babies just starting to walk, all the way up to primary school age. There's usually a few other kids there throughout the day and it gets quite active around the end of school time as well. It's also directly across from Beecroft station with a great view of the trains which is fun for the little ones.
Great for train loving kids! Play equipment perfect for my two year old. Some shade from trees but not full coverage. Fully fenced and gated at each end which is a big plus. Station car park + on-street parking nearby. Also directly next to Beecroft Station if travelling by train (but note: the station is currently stair access only, construction on lifts is scheduled to start soon).
My little girls are always running into friends from school or soccer here. Really nice little playground🙂
Nice small playground. Swings, slides and assorted play equipment. Can see the trains. Equipment is also train themed!
