I'm not talking about the restaurant...just the lovely outdoor seating and what the kiosk offers. This has become a regular stop on the way up or down the coast from Sydney. I can't understand anyone not liking it....the position is sublime, coffee great, food excellent whether a slice of cake or fish and chips, just excellent. Only wish I had some overseas visitors! Just a beautiful spot.

We showed up at the restaurant after having a beautiful walk on a beautiful day with my 98 year old mom on a wheelchair and a friend. I was told that the restaurant was fully booked and they were expecting large groups. I said I only need a table for 3 so this wonderfull lady spoke to another wonderful lady and came back to say that they could fit us in if we come back at 11:30. They sat us at the end of the balcony which is actually the best table in the balcony giving us 270 degree view of the river and surrounds. The oysters were fresh and the cheese soufflé was beautiful. The seared barramundi, grilled dory and duck breast confit was spot on. By the time we were halfway through our main the place was buzzing and the 2 ladies looking after the whole restaurant was flat out but managing really well. They found time to take our photos when we asked them. Our dessert of chocolate fondant and creme brûlée was excellent. Our bill of $300+ was not cheap but we got what we paid for. Best of all mom enjoyed her meals and the boardwalk so much she couldn't stop talking about it. We will definitely be back. The chef was so friendly and appreciative and held the door while I push mom's wheelchair out of the restaurant. We shall return

A great place to relax and eat after doing the nearby boardwalk hike from Brooklyn. Food was a little slow coming out, but it was delicious when it arrived and the service was great. Nice view from a balcony table and they have gas heaters available if it’s a bit chilly.

A perfect spot for a long-awaited family catch-up. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my elderly parents, showing real care and attention to their needs. We were seated on the balcony with stunning views of the water – so peaceful and relaxing. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the cocktail of the day was a perfect, refreshing touch. It was the ideal place to reconnect with my parents after a year apart. The service truly made the experience – I couldn’t fault a thing. A big thank you for such a memorable lunch.

Stunning location with amazing potential. We’ve been to the Kiosk twice unfortunately they won’t let you in before 12 to the restaurant. Waitress was extremely rude. Kiosk coffee was burnt, the spot was so lovely on our first visit I asked about booking lunch for my mother’s 89th birthday. 16-18 people. I was told no large bookings. I said that’s ok what your largest table. She said 10. I said how about I book 2 tables of 8 I was to no they would accept the bookings. Clearly they aren’t wanting their business to last turning people away.
