Located at 5 Kowan Road, Mooney Mooney, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 We had a lovely time today at this club. We came for lunch on our way back into Sydney from the Hunter Valley. We were a large group of 35 people, mainly consisting of older people and some with walkers. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. We had water and glasses already on our tables when we arrived. This was a lovely touch. It’s a very accessible establishment with a ramp at the entrance and disabled toilets. The menu offers a good selection of delicious meals, I had the garlic prawns and they were delicious, particularly the sauce. The view over the river is gorgeous. You can sit inside or outside on the veranda. There’s plenty of parking 🅿️ outside. I would definitely recommend a visit here. Thumbs up! 👍👍
The club has a restaurant bar and picnic grounds as well as a lawn bowls club. With unbeatable views of the Hawksberry River it makes a great lunch venue especially on the outside verandah
Great little club with fantastic views of the Hawkesbury and the sandstone cliffs. When we went it was a busy and service was a bit slow. We had the grilled salmon which was perfect but the seafood basket was a little disappointing as the fish was not very fresh and the chips were overfried.
The workers here are lovely and the service was great, not to mention really nice views. We had the steak, lamb ragu pasta, fish and chips and oysters - the steak and oysters stood out! The place was spacious with lots of seatings, it’s also close to the Hawkesbury River Oyster Shed - would definitely come back!
Always wanted to go here. Our small group went for lunch on a Saturday. Was busy but had booked a table so got seated quickly and served quickly. Had a lovely lunch. Service was good and a nice view outside over the River. I had Prawn salad and wife the Barramundi. Lovely food.
