Dog rules

Central Coast Council's "Guide to being PAWSOME!" booklet states: "Dogs and cats are prohibited to enter schools, shopping centres, beaches (except in designated areas), food preparation areas, playgrounds and wildlife protection areas, as outlined by the Companion Animals Act 1998." This beach is not on Central Coast Council's published list of designated off-leash dog areas, so dogs are prohibited under the council's general rule. Lovely spot to sit and enjoy the wonders of Lake Macquarie all year round, any time of the day. With a dedicated swim area, and playground, you can watch the kids play while enjoying a BBQ cooked on the BBQs. Doesn't get better this.
