Dog rules
–Central Coast Council's "Guide to being PAWSOME!" booklet states: "Dogs and cats are prohibited to enter schools, shopping centres, beaches (except in designated areas), food preparation areas, playgrounds and wildlife protection areas, as outlined by the Companion Animals Act 1998." This beach is not on Central Coast Council's published list of designated off-leash dog areas, so dogs are prohibited under the council's general rule. Beautiful beach.. The road from Norah Head runs out to a large car park located to the lee of the point, providing good views and access to both beaches. The first is Pebbly Beach (NSW 273, also called Gravelly Beach), which lies 500 m south of the head. It can be reached on foot from the Norah Head road in the north, or the Soldiers Point car park at the southern end.

Great beach for a not so busy stroll and surf. Most of the crowd congregate near the life guard flags leaving most of the beach quiet.
