Galloway Green is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Gledswood Hills where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find BBQs and toilets nearby.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times in public places except in designated off-leash areas. Dog owners must clean up after their dogs. The maximum number of dogs that may be under one person's effective control is four. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment, food preparation/consumption areas, public swimming pools, schools, kindergartens, sports grounds during organised activities, and wildlife protection areas. AWESOME place for kids n adults to have outdoor activities. New toilets thou not open yet with bbq facilities.
It was so much fun with my kids. My favourite was the big blue and grey slide
For families with young kids, Galloway Green seems like a strong pick — very kid-friendly, good for picnics, and a relaxing local park.
This is now the second time I have gotten sick after using the equipment here with my children. Keep you and your children home if you are recovering from illness and stop spreading your germs!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
