Chinamans Beach is a beach in Kinghorne. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed.
Shoalhaven City Council's Dog Off-Leash Guide states: "Dogs in the Shoalhaven are required to be 'on leash'" unless in a designated off-leash area or dog-prohibited area. This venue is not named in Shoalhaven's off-leash list or prohibited list under D23/519887 (MIN23.740, December 2023), so the council-wide default on-leash rule applies. Dogs must be under the effective control of a competent person at all times under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. (Source: Shoalhaven City Council, MIN23.740 / D23/519887.)
Dispite the inappropriate name, the hidden quiet beach, is off the main road. I would advise to drive through on a 4x4 as the bumpy dirt tracks are very rocky and consist if dips and holes. It will be worth a drive, as you'll reach a parking area, and you'll need to walk for 3mins to reach the beach. White sand and clear water
Magnificent! Secluded, quiet, easy parking & access! My new favourite beach! I'd drive here anyday over Sydney!
I really feel like a private beach here and it’s very beautiful. Though you need to walk place is worth it
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
