Great little park with a view of the whole area, plenty of grass for the kids to play, and paths for bike riding and scooters. Nice and clean and well maintained. There is plenty of history where this park is located as well as it was the former St Andrews Home for Boys established in 1961 and closed in 1986.

This small park in the Emerald Hills estate will have its official opening on Saturday 26 October 2019 at 10:00am. - Kids Activities, Cookie decorating, plaster painting, jumping castle & face painting. Enjoy a community family event, food & coffee in our beautiful new park. Bell Tower Park and the structures and statues in it celebrate and commemorate the presence of the St. Andrews Home for Boys that used to be located on this hilltop. The Home was established by the Presbyterian Church (now Uniting Church in 1961 and it closed in 1986. The buildings were designed by architects Philip Cox and Ian McKay and were the recipient of the Sir John Sulman Medal for Architectural Excellence in 1963. The Home originally included a bell tower, from which this Park is named. More detail on the Home can be found in the Archival Record of the property prepared by Macarthur Developments and lodged with Camden Council. I occasionally trek here with my children as I live in the estate, the park includes a single sheltered table with seating, swings, climbable tower with slide, and monkey bars. (Sadly, the bell doesn't actually work, but I could understand with so many houses close by).
