Perich Park is the small park across the road from the Oran Park Library and Camden Council Building on Central Avenue in Oran Park. Many of the other reviews on here refer to the water park and playground which is not at Perich Park. Perich Park is named for the Perich family that previously owned the land that now comprises Oran Park. The statues of cattle in this park symbolises that family's involvement in the dairy and cattle industries. A number of benches surround the grassy centre of the park. There is a path that leads to the adjacent 'Oran Park Town Centre' Shopping Centre, and as mentioned earlier in this review, the Camden Public Library and Camden Council Offices and Chambers are across the road from this park. There are NO public toilet facilities at this park. The nearest public toilets are at the Oran Park Library during it's opening hours. Otherwise, the nearest public toilet facilities are located at the Oran Park Town Centre shopping centre.
Great family spot. Has both play park and water park side by side. Amenities are also quite close. Only downside is lack of shade on a hot day w/ lots of people. Get there early and secure a place to sit and will be a great day out.
Such a beautifully designed park. Much in line with the history of oran park.
Lovely park, lovely surrounds. Safe for kids and got ample picnic shades around. Nearby is a splash park and stroll paths. Not crowded in weekend mornings.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
