We visited the bistro for the first time today. The food was above delicious! I've reviewed 100s of venue's and frankly, didn't expect this one to deliver anything special. The venue is undergoing a renovation, usually services don't deliver as well during these periods of disruption. Not the case here. We sat on the verandah with a lovely sea breeze, sounds and smell of the coastal location making the experience just that much more special. Highly recommend this venue for food.

Stayed 2 nights. There was some live music in the beer garden when we arrived on Sunday, which was lovely. Hubby had pulled a leg muscle and couldn't walk very far, thankfully our room and balcony had first class viewing 😉 Lewis, offered to help hubby if needed. The hotel is undergoing renovations in all areas at once, which made our stay slightly uncomfortable. We had no hot water, due to power outage. I informed bar staff several times Sun/Mon, they said manager was on phone and they'd pass on message, they didn't. I finally got to speak to Lewis (night manager) around 4pm Monday, he called the plumber. He apologised for not knowing earlier and offered some money back, we said don't worry as we understand, he gave us some delicious Rosè and opened a private area for hubby and I to enjoy, due to his lack of mobility, he also offered to help with our bags in the morning. Thank you Lewis, great service 👌 Due to renovations, deliveries and road repair it was noisy first thing in the morning, but he ho, what can ya do. I would wait until renovations are finished before staying. Overall, budget friendly, some staff need a little extra training in cleaning and service, great location on main street, safe accommodation. We'll go back again, despite the obstacles 😉

Absolutely shocking experience Parmy was dry and bland and lacked any toppings, barely got any fries with the it and my partner got the southern chicken burger a she currently has food poisoning. Do yourself a favour and don’t eat here.

Splashed out and got the big tbone to share. Really impressed. Seasoned perfectly, cooked spot on. Flavour was excellent. Chef can cook a steak man. Will be back.

Great venue, staff, service, food. Arrived for a lunch with a large group of disabled people. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, the service was excellent as was the food. Very well priced with plenty of options for all our participants with regards dietary restrictions and budget.
