Dog rules

Canterbury-Bankstown City Council's "Pet-friendly parks and reserves" page states: "please remember to keep your dog on a leash unless the reserve is classified as a 'dog off-leash area'." The council's "Animals and pets" page summarises this as: "Keeping your dog on a leash, unless in a designated off-leash area." This venue is not on Canterbury-Bankstown's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. Great place with no dogs but does have entry fee. Mostly peaceful except for jet ski's which can be entertaining. Lovely place for family outing with clean bbqs and toilets too.

Beautiful place, good amenities. The only downside are the Jetskis that are really noisy and annoying.

Beautiful Park by the river. People tend to throw trash, which is annoying. Also, the high speed water crafts make a lot of noise, so go to the far end to avoid those. Apart from this, it's superb. Help keep it clean.
