George Alder Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Quakers Hill.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at George Alder Reserve, a Blacktown City Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
cutle little park. fake rock walls for climbing with hidden things for kids to find. like a bat, spider and more. undercover seating and a drink fountain. again no toilet. but heaps of places to run and play hide n seek or chasings. good park.
Playground is for older kids and confident climbers. No toilets. Fenced means to me that your dog or child can't get out by themselves. This playground isn't fenced.
Its a nice place close to Quakers Hill Railway station and school for young kids. It has got one 3 swings, one bench for sitting , 2 slides and rocky structure for kids to climb and go from one end to another. Rocky structure has interesting animals carved on it. The park is Small but nice. We fondly call it as Rock Park. Sadly its most of the times empty. Hope more kids come here to play.
Really nice park with lots of trees and open spaces between. The playground is a little underwhelming - too tricky for young kids and not interesting enough for older ones. For chasing and running games though, it's a winner.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
