Bert Saunders Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Doonside.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Bert Saunders Reserve, a Blacktown City Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
It’s nice play ground for evening walks and morning running but the only problem is that people with dogs they didn’t pickups their dogs wastage it’s on the the walkway on the grass and everywhere hope someone do something about this
Play ground for young kids yes Toilets - only open on game days Food- only game days BBQ none at all. Near Featherdale wildlife park. 15mins from Doonside Station No dogs No Golf No Horses No motor bikes
With good soccer fields, this park is good for jog as well. Parking is available and you can easily place rug or chairs to sit and enjoy soccer matches.
This poorly maintained sports field is ok to walk the dogs around but you run the risk of being harassed by feral youths. It's often an illegal dumping ground of rubbish; however, the new little playground is fun for kids.
It is a nice place to bring your kid's to play in the children's area. But just watch out for broken glass, never let your young ones run around without any shoes on. The equipment looks very new and there's not to much damage done to it, there is a bit of graffiti but it isn't to bad. Sports fields are very close and can be busy when the fields are being used. It isnt far from Featherdale Wildlife Park either. If you liked my review give me a tick on the blue hand and help me improve my google local guide experience, thanks...
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
