Zhou Mum Cafe is a cafe in Kingsford where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
You will have diarrhea after eating. If you don't believe it, you can try it. The sanitary conditions are extremely poor! The back kitchen is all stinky meat and rotten dishes! The ingredients are placed directly by the toilet, and the meat is soaked in the rusty pool!
Well, if you're about to be out of money and want to have an ultra-large portion, this is the best place that I can offer around UNSW! For $14, you'll get MOUNTAINEOUS rice with 3 dishes, which also comes with a free drink! MONEY SPENT WELL HERE!
Last time I came, server cannot speak english, so it is hard to know what is offered. However, the server just gave me to try the stuffs that I was asking for testers. Even though my dishes should only be 3, it became more than 3 bcs of the testers. Price 5/5 Quantity 5/5
The sauteed sweet sour pork (guobaorou) had good flavour and like the veggies in it, but unfortunately the batter was very soft and falling off the pork, clearly not freshly made. For mapo tofu, I personally prefer the spicier kind with chilli oil rather than this gravy-like sauce, but it was still tasty.
Mega portion quantities (unlimited refills of rice with 3 dishes) with a free drink (Green bean drink, soy milk, or herbal water) for only $8 if paid in cash ($8 deal used to be only after 8 pm, but now it is a beautiful all-day deal). #1 Best VALUE Chinese food in Kingsford Period. Have eaten here multiple times as my default go-to meal for lunch & dinner and they always have a variety of diverse dish options ranging from delicious meats to healthy vegetables & classic authentic Chinese dishes that will remind Chinese people of their mother's cooking. Takeaway options also provide you with the Deepest container your mind could ever fathom & conjure, ensuring you will always be FULL after a Zhou Mum meal. Also, the Cafe has the same surname as me so definitely recommend 11/10. Can even bring your friends here if they don't mind straight to the point food with an emphasis on Quantity & Value. I'd recommend you ask for their unique fried rice on their Secret menu; it's aboslutely wok-charred & delicious :)
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
