Well this is about to escalate when it didn’t have to and will now become a serious legal matter for they just did to my son. My wife was just turned away from using the bathroom with our 8 year old disabled son. He is also severely autistic but extremely well behaved and doesn’t speak (non verbal) There was a bathroom emergency a while all the other front desk security have been very supportive in the past, this one guy today was not!! She offered up her license and all and he still said no. Now our son has a serious problem from this declination and that’s why this will not be the end of it. Our son rides trains and buses as that’s all he wants to do in his life as he is extremely introverted. He never misbehaves and just sits there. He needed a bathroom urgently today and this guy took one look at my wife and son and judged them and acted accordingly. He is about find out that was a mistake. Do not go there is you don’t feel like being discriminated against for having a disabled child. I hate using my position and friends to have things like this sorted out but this was unacceptable.
I watched the live band, "Groove Icons" last night in the sports bar. Honestly the best band I've seen in a very long time. Incredible talent and really enjoyed having a boogie to their tunes. They engaged with us in the audience and encouraged us to sing along to the tunes. Loved it! Absolutely had best night. Thank you so much for a good time!
Located at 558A Anzac Parade, Kingsford, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 A great club in a very accessible location. Directly across from the Light Rail L3 Line that takes you to the Sydney CBD and also the Bus Stop. We ate our lunch at the Sundeck Brasserie and we were not disappointed. The menu offers you a very good range of dishes at reasonable prices. I had the Thai Chicken Salad that was on Special for $20.00. It was delicious. The majority of people in my group had the Roast and everyone seemed to really enjoy their meal. There’s plenty of seating available and it’s very accessible for people in wheelchairs and walkers. There’s a cafe on the ground floor for coffee and cakes and you can have a Chinese meal at Treasures. There’s also Aristo’s for a Mediterranean meal and freshly made Pizza 🍕 at Henry’s. So there’s plenty of options to choose from. There’s also a gymnasium on the third floor. You can also enjoy live entertainment in the Wintle Theatre from comedy shows, musicals and concerts. I would definitely recommend visiting this club. A big thumbs up from me! 👍👍👍
I had an incredible experience at Aristo Greek restaurant on the upper floor. I was visiting from interstate but did not want to buy membership to Juniors as I would not be using it much (and Aristo offers the same price for members and non-members). The guy at the door was so nice. He told me you didn't need club membership to go up to Aristo. Just my licence which he quickly scanned for entry. It was such a beautiful, luxe experience taking an escalator up to Aristo. I've done a separate review for Aristo itself. It's where the light rail (Juniors Leagues line) terminates. Suggestion for tourists - Take the light rail (Juniors Leagues line) from Circular Quay to Junior Leagues and dine at Aristos. Then go back to where you got off the light rail and catch a Maroubra beach bus to Maroubra beach. You can then get a bus directly back from Maroubra Beach to Circular Quay.
The Juniors Kingsford is my favorite club. We come for dinner often. The food in the bistro is fantastic, recently I enjoyed lamb skewers with Greek salad. It was tasty meal plus in an impressive way served. There is a free band every Saturday night or paid entertainment upstairs, which is fantastic. Highly recommend!
