What people say
This is a great leafy spot with fun playground for all ages. Parking could be an issue on Saturday or Sundays if the weather is nice. What we feel is really missing there is a coffee stand!
Great park to walk the dog but please do something about the lighting when there are no games on. Sooo many people still use the park rain hail or shine.. it needs some solar lights making the facility safer.
So much on offer here to not just you or your family, but the whole local community living around Rowland Park. From the numerous ovals for cricket on a weekend, to the play swings for the kids, to the exercise equipment for everyone to use. Even to walk you the family dog in the evening after dinner.
Buetiful medium-sized park. Not crowded even on sunday. There are 2 places for exercise. Lockated between Bunnirong Street and Bank Street.
We always go to the playground on Rowland Park since before it was renovated. It's been few year since it was redone, but it's still quite popular among the children from schools nearby. So after school time could be quite busy. The playground is divided mainly into 2 areas, separated by walkway. One area for younger children, and the other is for older one with taller slides and ropes to climb. It also has small part in the corner for other exploration, like balancing and instrument that promote hands-on activities. Restrooms are available at the other corner from the playground, so it's about 1-2 minutes walk. In the morning, the walking path always have people walking or jogging around the park. It's nice and flat path.
