With its lush greenery, winding pathways, and scenic vistas, it beckons visitors to immerse themselves in nature's embrace and rejuvenate their spirits. As I step into the park, a sense of serenity washes over me, enveloping me in its soothing ambiance. The rustling of leaves in the gentle breeze and the melodic chirping of birds provide a symphony of natural sounds, transporting me to a world far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The park's landscape is a sight to behold, with towering trees providing shade and shelter, while colorful flowers add splashes of vibrancy to the scenery. Benches scattered throughout the park offer inviting spots to sit and contemplate, allowing visitors to pause and appreciate the beauty that surrounds them. Winding pathways meander through the park, inviting exploration and discovery at every turn. Whether strolling leisurely or engaging in a brisk jog, the pathways provide ample opportunity to connect with nature and indulge in moments of solitude or shared camaraderie with fellow park-goers. For those seeking recreational activities, the park offers a plethora of options to suit every interest. From expansive grassy fields ideal for picnics and sports to playgrounds for children to frolic in, there's no shortage of ways to stay active and engaged. One of the park's most enchanting features is its water elements, including tranquil ponds and babbling streams. These watery retreats not only enhance the park's aesthetic appeal but also provide habitat for various aquatic creatures, adding to the park's ecological diversity. As I conclude my visit to the park, I emerge feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and reconnected with the natural world. A nice little playground. The equipment is new, except for the Steam Roller that gives the park it’s name. I think a bit more could be done with the roller. But nice enough. Didn’t see a toilet.

Good to see the park finally with some complete renovations. Play equipment is modern and includes a small 'flying-fox' and accessible swing. There is plenty of seating for parents and carers as well as a covered table. The new plantings are coming along and these should look amazing in a year or so, especially if Council keeps up maintenance. It would be good if there was more to do or look at as it's a huge space with little going on but hopefully Penrith City Council will get to that at a later stage. In the meanwhile, if you live locally and want a park with play equipment for your kids, or somewhere different to take a walk this is perfect. Please note there are no toilets at this park.

The park was all good 1st weekend. The 2nd weekend there was plenty of rubbish around , pizza box, lunch boxes, plastic bags etc everywhere around the picnic chairs.

Steamroller park has gotten a great upgrade, a playground fairly friendly for all ages. There's a nice lap path around the playground with a flying fox that's designed to withstand the big kids too, looking at you Dads.
