I hate leaving bad reviews but it is disappointing when a business which use to be good food and service declines so dramatically. Tables were unclean and slow to be cleared. We ordered a sandwich and an açai bowl. The staff completely forgot the açai bowl which is something that takes literally 5 minute to prepare and despite trying to get someone’s attention three times it never came. Ultimately we left they did give a refund but the apology was lacking the requisite sincerity for such a fundamental error in customer service. Can’t see us going back again

We really enjoyed our meal here. -The breakfast burger was very tasty -XS Turkish breakfast was delicious. -The fries were also yummy fresh& crunchy -halloumi stack was also delicious -mocha frappe was yummy with bits of chocolate inside was a lovely surprise The fruit juices were a bit sour for our taste, but everything else was great.

I ordered the Chilli Scrambled Eggs and was honestly pretty disappointed. What came out wasn’t scrambled eggs at all - it was clearly an omelette. Firm, set eggs with toppings baked in, totally different from what the menu describes as “fermented chilli scrambled eggs with shiitake mushrooms, onion, herbs, feta and flatbread.” The flavours were fine and the presentation looked nice, but it’s frustrating when a dish doesn’t match what’s advertised. If it’s an omelette, just call it that. I’ve enjoyed XS Espresso before, but this one really missed the mark.

This cafe was great, friendly service and they have a good wide range menu. I ordered an acai bowl that was packed to the brim and they didnt skimp out on the toppings. The coffee was great too. Id definitely go here again 😎
