What people say
We visited for the burial of a close friend’s son. Kemps Creek Cemetery has a peaceful, spiritual atmosphere with spacious grounds, a lake, and gardens. The burial sections are clearly marked, with a dedicated Muslim area and musallah for prayers. The ground staff were kind and supportive. It’s heart-wrenching to walk through and see so many graves adorned with fresh flowers — a reminder of those who’ve gone before us, and of our own return one day. A place that truly touches the soul...
May I just say the groundsman were amazing, I very much appreciated their willingness to lower my mumma down when there wasn’t much help that we could offer physically in our family to do so. Much respect. This place is actually a lot nicer than the reviews reflect. Little improvements here & there of course but I’m sure they’re working tirelessly everyday at this cemetery. More flowers & landscaping would most definitely amp up the vibe 😌
I can’t believe how disappointing the upkeep is of the Catholic Lawn Cemetery that was the original Catholic Cemtery through the Liverpool Catholic Club is my husband and in-laws grave sites are disgraceful I would strongly suggest that Leppington and Pinegrove are better well maintained for all denominations it seems the only interest the new park has is in the marble headstones and rose garden that has been established with no consideration for the original gravesites extremely disgraceful actually it looks like tumble weed city. Also the Cemetery is now closed on Sundays last I looked Mother’s Day and Father’s Day were on a Sunday how has this been allowed to happen.
I will say the best lady to deal with is Belinda. She is very helpful. The lawn mower man has been respectful when I've been here and gone else where on his lawn mower. My father in law is buried here and whilst my interactions with the few staff have been great I'm disappointed to come here today and find his site completely ruined and untidy. His flowers were thrown on him like he was nothing. No care has been taken to look after him at all.
Last week we buried a loved one. I was deeply saddened at my Father in Laws disappointment and distress regarding the poor maintenance of the Catholic grave sites. My In Laws purchased their plots some years ago when the cemetery was well maintained. When you bury a loved one you would assume that they will be taken care of in death as they were in life. This made a very sad time even more difficult. My hope is that the owner's of the cemetery take note of these reviews and take positive steps to improve the grounds. On another note the staff were not helpful when asked if there were facilities for the priest to prepare for the service. He ended up changing by the car. The staff should demonstrate empathy professionalism and respect for people who are grieving so the process can be a little easier. I hope for my Father in Law so sake that things will improve.
