Cook Park is a dog-friendly park in Saint Marys. Just 550m away, St Marys Diggers Club is a nearby spot to stop in after your walk.
Fantastic spot for a walk with the dogs even when fields are being used for sports.
A very clean and well looked after park. It has swings and a playground for kids and adult kiddies too. It has a soccer field and cricket field and plenty of space to have a picnic and play games with the kids. Toilets are clean and you are not far from Macdonalds, 7 Eleven fuel station and you are not far from Stmarys shop's.
Nice play area, away from the noise and not surrounded with lots of houses There are a couple of good fun activities for kids, huge swing, 2 slides and a zipline swing and there is a plan to have a workout area for adults as well so it's a win win
As Orange was being developed in the 1860s this 4.5-hectare plot was set aside as a public reserve. This space was drained and landscaped, and trees acquired from the Sydney Botanical Gardens were planted in 1878, while the ornamental lake followed in 1880. Cook Park brims with history, at Bastick Cottage (1887), the Band Rotunda (1908), the Blowes Conservatory (1934), the Frank Mulholland Sunken Garden (1935) and the fernery. There’s a cannon that used to guard Sydney Harbour, as well as a field gun captured in France in 1918. In April and May this one of the prime places in Orange to watch the leaves turn, just a few minutes on foot from the CBD.
Beautiful newly renovated playground, cricket oval and soccer fields - everything you need for your child's outdoor activities.
