Jim Anderson Park is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Werrington Downs. You'll find BBQs nearby.
Dogs are welcome on leash in this park. Keep your dog under effective control. Dogs must stay at least 10 metres from children's play equipment and from BBQs, picnic tables or other facilities provided for preparing or eating food, except where the food area is on a public thoroughfare such as a road, footpath or pathway. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated dog parks and off-leash areas.
5* for finally upgrading the park. Downfall is the castle section to high, when children go down slide possible could rush in tunnel pushing another to the side and come straight off the high section onto ground extremely dangerous the section should be a closed off wall so no body can fall down. Sick of running around to that section when child goes near that spot. Should have BBQ and splash park.
New upgraded park for 2024. Very good for little kids and it’s enclosed by fencing and has an even amount of play for each age group.
It's hard to find a decent park for my little one but this is perfect for the smaller kids.
Would've been better if the grass was cut but other then that lived the little basketball court just wish it was bigger
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
