Oliver Brown Bonnyrigg is a cafe where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
I went to an Oliver Brown in Bonnyrigg for the first time and I was impressed by the service and the care the girls took to check if I was happy with the Macaroon served. They exemplified the meaning of customer service and satisfaction- coffee was great
I was extremely disappointed with the service at Oliver Brown. The lack of attention to my order and the attitude from staff were unacceptable. I ordered a Biscoff açai with no crumbs, which was correctly noted on the receipt. However, the staff member who prepared the açai made a mistake. While mistakes are understandable, the way it was handled was not. Instead of remaking the order properly, she scraped the topping off, leaving the açai messy and dripping down the sides of the cup. When I politely asked for it to be remade, I was met with an attitude that made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. Unfortunately, it is not my problem if you have to remake it, and to be made to feel bad by saying “I’ll have to throw it in the bin” is not my issue if it was done properly to begin with. I rarely leave reviews, especially as someone who works in retail and understands the pressures of the job. However, this experience was disappointing, particularly for a new establishment. Being charged $17 for an açai with minimal toppings and sauce only added to the frustration. I hope management can address staff training and customer service.
