What people say
I discovered McBurney Park by accident as I drove down the wrong street trying to get to the Cumberland Highway so decided to stop and have a look around since the Mrs wanted to have a play on the swings. Quite a sizeable park with a full playground for the toddlers and also an outdoor gym equipment area for the adults to do their workouts, but it was quite messy when we visited with overflowing trash bins, litter strewn around and grass in need of a trim. Other than these issues which I will put down to it still being the holiday period and council workers still being on leave, I'd give it a 4 out of 5 star rating.
Good park , small but has a lot of equipment for the little ones and adults can use some equipment for working out e.g pull ups and dips. A lot of trees and a good walking track for the kids to ride their bikes, equipment is dated , overall a good park for locals.
I love this park. I never saw this place crowded. Early mornings, there are regular walkers. Even with a playground and an outdoor gym in site, it is a peaceful place to enjoy some quiet time. (Great place for PokemonGo players as it has two Pokestops and a Pokegym next to each other)
it's a decent park but limited equipment for exercising. Best time to train is during midday. kind of miss the cactus growing on the roof at the picnic area.
