Dog rules

Dogs are permitted on-leash under the NSW Companion Animals Act. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. City of Ryde's Dog Off-Leash Areas page states these are the only areas where dogs may run free without a lead. This venue is not on the council's off-leash list; off-leash use is not authorised here. (Source: City of Ryde — Dog Off-Leash Areas, ryde.nsw.gov.au.)

A nice place with a BBQ and a cycle path and toilets and enough parking. There is a great grassy area and a pergola for parties.

Lovely park with a good range of equipment for all ages and abilities. There is plenty of shade, picnic tables, seating, BBQ and water refill station. The park is surrounded by a large grassy area and scooter/bike trail. Bathroom facilities available. Parking closer by.

Lovely reserve with shaded trees covering the walkway which has either a garden or hedges on the sides. It also has a play area known as Livvi's place with carved wooden totem poles concrete animal statues plus metal sculptures. The reserve also has picnic tables, bbq area toilets and benches.

Great space for kids. Lots of shade to sit under. Nice big open space to kick a ball or throw a frisbee. I only saw 2 BBQ areas. There might be more. Clean and well-maintained.

One of the best parks in the area featuring sand pit and small water feature. Great for younger kids who can walk, the flying fox can strap child in. Really good variety in terms of play equipment and mostly under shelter. Slightly out of the way from trains, but a decent walk if in the area.
