Impressive club and full of expanded ideas. Enjoying a festive Chinese Lunar New Year season. I have been a member over 20 years.
Vincent noodle house. This restaurant is one of our favourite place inside Dooleys lidcombe carholic club. We come for their beef pho. Good value, good size and tasty food. You can upgrade your bowl to jumbo size with extra $5. Our favourite dish is rare beef pho, pork chop (is must try!), stir fry rice noodle with beef, fried rice with anchovy. Its sooo good.
The food was nice and hot and fresh. Big portions too. My pork roast with vegetables was lovely. The band was fantastic made our mum's 79th birthday a special one thanks
I recently visited the restaurant at Dooleys Catholic Club, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a great view of the courts and plenty of space to unwind after a match or workout. The menu offers a great mix of healthy options and comfort food, and everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavour. Portions were generous, and the presentation was impressively polished for a club restaurant. The bar selection is also solid, with good coffee, refreshing post-training drinks, and a nice range of wines and beers. Service was another highlight—the staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient without ever feeling intrusive. Our meals arrived promptly, and the team checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, the restaurant adds real value to the club. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite after training or meeting friends for a casual meal, it’s a great place to relax and refuel. Highly recommended!
It was my first time to visit Dooley's in Lidcombe and it did not disappoint. We signed up and the gentleman was very helpful and friendly. The Vietnamese restaurant had some good selection in the menu. The food was good that we had to go back again the following day with friends! The Bistro also had some nice selections of cake. There are other places we wanted to try, so we can't wait to go back.
