We stopped in for pies and coffee for lunch. We were received with a smile and the staff were very pleasant. The coffee and food was delucious and delivered promptly. If i could make one important suggestion would be to encourage the kitchennhand to prepare the dishes etc for washing to be working quietly as the noise from the dish clanging is extremely noisy and takes away the otherwise enjoyable customer experience.

$7.90 for a small plain mincemeat gravy type pie. Initially thought I may have been given a different pie because I was charged over $8 EFTPOS. Staff seemed very friendly up to then, but when I asked if she’d given me a plain pie or the difference was just a surcharge, the tone shifted and she loudly shamed me for asking about surcharges by slamming a laminated placard thing in front of me (that I couldn’t read without glasses), and said in a demeaning tone that if I want to pay the displayed price I should carry cash. I have no issues paying the surcharges, they are expected almost everywhere like this, and I know our locals are making minimal profit while paying loads of fees/bills to make their living. Nevertheless, future customers be advised that if you want friendly service here, you must not ask any questions about surcharges, and you should study up on the listed prices and fees before visiting so you know in advance how it adds up. Don’t ask any questions that may agitate the staff or you may get embarrassingly shamed. Sauce extra 40c (plus surcharges).

Stopped in for a coffee and a quiche early morning. The coffee was okay, nothing special, but was served insanely hot. Once it cooled down it was fine, though the decaf wasn't great. Service went from frosty to friendly between staff members, but the good ones more than made up for the others. The breakfast quiche might just be one of the best things I've ever eaten. Not much healthy in there, but proper feel good home cooked food. I'd get that again in a heartbeat. Overall a nice stopping point on the way through town.

I love Kings Patisserie. The staff are incredibly friendly, and very efficient , the coffee ☕️ amazing. What I don’t like is that you get a verbal quote of an amount, but because you use a card, who doesn’t these days, you get a surcharge, which means your not paying $6 for your coffee, but $6:08 cents. No other cafe in Jamberoo does this, or in reality other businesses that I use.

I don’t think I’ve ever eaten food so flavorless.🤔 The pies were unevenly heated, with one side mouth burning hot and the other barely warm. But, worse, they were virtually tasteless! Unbelievable. And, the vanilla slice didn’t nothing to convince us otherwise: it too lacked any great depth of flavor. It all seemed very processed. Maybe it isn’t, but it didn’t work for us.
