What people say
Such a lovely café with a genuinely welcoming vibe. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. It’s clear they really care about their customers, not just the coffee. Great drinks, relaxed atmosphere, and warm service — definitely a place you’ll want to come back to.
Firstly service is amazing, only downside was the food and coffee, which is what a cafe is all about.. Bacon smelt and tasted off, almost like fish. The bread was off, matted like texture. Coffee was basically lightly coloured milk. Took one sip of the coffee and one bite of the bacon which led me to walk out. Leaving a bowl full of uneaten food there on table... what does that tell you. Sorry guys, but dont feed customers off food hoping cooking it will cover it up.
Very quite nice little place to enjoy a coffee and cake or even a great egg and bacon roll. Very nice coffee and always a pleasant place to visit while on morning tea for work. Staff are great and extremely friendly and always very welcoming all round great place to Mario and the team.
Absolutely fantastic catering - literally every person in my 50+ person office is always satisfied and going back for seconds. The arancini is a particular favourite and goes in a flash! The food is so good you almost don't want to worry about dessert - but DAMN you can't pass it up. Such a wonderful assortment of fresh sweets and slices. The portions in each box is very worth the cost, presentation is beautiful and dealing with Mario and Stacey is so easy!
Today was *the day* when we noticed some areas for improvement in the hospitality at your cafe. First and foremost, a big and heartfelt congratulations on the remarkable growth—it's well-deserved, and you truly have earned every bit of it! I was disappointed not to see you in person today to pass along my congratulations, but I brought two friends with me to try Nanos Olive Tree Cafe around 12:30 PM. The food, as always, was *amazing*, and we loved it. However, the hospitality fell short this time. A welcoming atmosphere was missing; instead, there was a sense of rudeness and even taunting. One staff member (the lady who brought our food) was quite impolite, which made the experience uncomfortable. I don't want to imply it was racially motivated, but it didn’t feel too far from that. I left a message at the end of our meal, but I wanted to share this feedback directly, as we’ve always enjoyed coming to your cafe. I hope to see the warmth and hospitality return in future visits!
