Milk & Daisy was an absolute standout on Australia Day. With so few cafés open in the Southern Highlands, they were incredibly busy — yet the service remained genuinely warm, calm, and attentive throughout. The food was outstanding, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. What impressed me most was how hard the team worked to accommodate the influx of customers — they truly went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and looked after. The space itself is lovely: modern, relaxed, and stylish, with an atmosphere that wouldn’t feel out of place in London, Sydney, or Byron Bay. A beautiful environment matched by equally beautiful service. A big thank you to the team at Milk & Daisy — you handled a huge day with grace and professionalism. I’ll definitely be back.

The most expensive coffee in town and they use some sweet plastic tasting almond milk instead of MilkLab. Glacial service. They make a thing out of asking just for toast with Vegemite, having to go check if they have it, but then the Korean toastie ordered by my friend wasn't even executed well enough to demonstrate they can do the busy things they have instead of doing standard offerings. Going to Maccas on future public holidays.

My husband and I ordered a piccolo and a latte from here. We are both coffee snobs and were impressed by the flavour and creaminess of the coffee. I have had some terrible piccolos in my time, but not here, it was one of the best takeaway piccolos I’ve had. The atmosphere of the shop was clean, open and homey. The staff were very friendly too, which makes a world of difference! Next time we’re back in Bundanoon this will be our first port of call for coffee!

Lovely avo toast and coffee. Great location on the main road to watch the traffic and people go by.
