A beautiful little Cafe. Atmosphere, breakfast and coffee was divine. A lovely start to the morning.
Lovely little cafe with a nice and peaceful atmosphere, Hippy Java is a nice break away from the day to relax and recharge. Bring a book or choose one from their selection to have a flick through. Coffee is great, coconut mango toast was maybe even better!
An Absolutely wonderful experience. The decor is stunning, the food fresh and the Coconut Crush Frappe was to die for! I had an Iced Coffee which was great on such a hot day, then I had the Ham and Cheese Toastie and that was great, I love mustard on a toastie. I also got a Mango and Coconut Bread and the Coconut Frappe to have after. I was going to take the Frappe away but I made the mistake of having a sip while still at the table and I drank almost all of it before I left the cafe and almost got another! There is a little reading nook with armchairs that I couldn't get a photo of because people were sitting in it, but I think it would be a great place to sit with people who find a normal cafe environment overwhelming. This is a family owned business and they really deserve some support, there are a lot of readymade coffee shops in the street now that have absolutely no charm and you just feel like a number, so this place stands out among the rest. There are also 4 or 5 opshops within a blocks radius, so it's easy to make a day of it. I would try Hippy Java you won't regret it.
Have been twice now. Lovely staff who make sure your coffee is just right, cosy vibe with books to read, and the orange poppyseed muffins are delicious 🤌🏼 a bit hot inside on warm days though.
Nice place to have a cuppa whilst reading a good book. Plenty of sweet and savory treats to try, and indoor and out door seating is available.
