Ardlethan 🏝️What an oasis... highly recommended stop 🛑 Just off the Newell Highway. Support a small quiet community 💕. There is a small Foodworks here. We stopped here for a nice break. Refreshing breeze. Clean toilets at Lions Park with children playground & picnic tables shade across the road. Very light traffic. Welcoming lovely cafe owner Kerri who makes her own yummy dessert and prepares delicious homemade style food🍔🥪 Best Roibos Turmeric Chai I have ever tasted ☕
From the outside Ariah 62 is underwhelming but inside it is a gem! Clean, open, old style and delightfully charming. Around the two rooms are displays of art, magazines, cookbooks, and local, homemade, produce (like Aunty Helen's Apple Chutney -delicious!). We ordered vegetarian salad wraps and two coffees and were impressed with the freshness of the wraps and their flavour and the coffee was also excellent. The staff and local customers were very friendly and welcoming. A delightful spot for lunch or morning tea opposite the park with the statue of the kelpie and a Stall Gift winner from Ardlethan. The park has excellent toilets and, if you walk around the town, you see interesting sights like the one pictured. The little supermarket down the road from Ariah 62 also has fresh produce and a good range of groceries.
Lovely food, great coffee, fantastic service. The Kakadu plum sorbet was a standout! Truly delicious and refreshing.
Amazing experience, perfect travel stop for lunch. Wonderful staff and food well priced.
So glad we drove off the main drag and happened upon this place. Absolutely wonderful. Staff attentive. Food as good as you'd expect in a trendy city cafe. Highly recommended visiting.
