The staff were friendly and atmosphere is quite unique, reminiscent of a small town and close community. However, I ordered the falafel burger and was deeply disappointed. The pattie was wafer thin and flavourless garnished only with lettuce and 1.5 cherry tomatoes. I would of had a better falafel experience across the road at the kebab shop. I suggest that your chef put some more effort into the veg menu. Blazingly ordinary at best.
If you are visiting the Southern Highlands don't miss coming to this pub for amazing food and friendly service. We ordered the okonomiyaki potatoes for entree it's perfect with a delicious flavour that took my back to the streets of Tokyo. The cheese burger is elite and they have won awards for it. The perfect ratio and the bun was toasted and slightly crunchy which added an extra level of detail would highly recommend.. My wife wanted to try the watermelon salad with prosciutto and it was full of flavour and a very generous serving. The chefs know what they are doing you will be happy. The service was friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. I would highly recommend this as a place to eat. Thank you for a memorable meal.
I was so excited coming up to Robertson but sadly the food is bad in this place. Ordered prawn hotpot which is really tasteless. I’m so hungry so i don't have a choice but to eat it. But really disappointing. Paid $30 dollars for the “prawn hotpot” but 100% not what I expected from the word hotpot deep in oil😅😅😅 with 1 piece of bread. I think you have to check with your chef since it’s really not good . Taste awful. It looks like thawed prawn from the freezer. I won’t come back again. Also, the pumpkin ravioli deep in oil as well. I will consider going to fish and chips shop instead with too much oil on my plate.
We were lucky enough to have our wedding at Robertson Public House and Kitchen. From our first enquiry, they were professional, courteous, thorough and approachable. The planning process was clear and simple, and we were confidently guided by Holly to create an event that suited our needs, budget and guestlist. The ceremony space at the back of the pub was just right for us - allowing us to invite additional guests to the actual ceremony without blowing the reception budget. Worked really well. The room was perfect for our 60 reception guests and the catering was wonderful- we received so many compliments on the food from our guests- and the staff were attentive and friendly. Thanks to Sophie for managing the event so well for us on the day. Highly recommended!
To be honest a bit disappointed. I felt this was one of the more reputable dining venues in Robertson. We chose this as our parting dinner. Two of the steaks ( serloin and scotch fillet) with mash and the charred broccolini. Aside from the steaks being beyond the medium we ordered, we both got the red wine jus as the sauce. To us it tasted like a dab of wine to a bit of gravy. Not those familiar tastes from a jus. It was ok, i just won't be rushing back to do it again. Overall we both just felt it lacked some flavour, and seasoning considering the price. Lads behind the counter were great, friendly, prompt and polite. Drinks cold. So, some wins
