The Sherwood Macarthur

We had lunch here today and the food was really nice. The venue is beautiful too. It didn't take long for the food to be prepared. If you become a member, you get a good discount too. It's very well presented and lots of parking. The food is very reasonably priced too. Staff is very friendly too.

Schnitzel was huge, tender and nice. Woodi burger had a char taste to it really nice, chips were crispy, really good.

The "homemade" lasagna and salad was terrible! Extremely small portion with cardboard sheets as hard as a rock. The salad that came with it was only a little bit of green leaf & nothing else. We had had a large group & most were saying similar concerns with only the fish being a good meal. Outside of the food the atmosphere and service was good ...

We were seven for Sunday lunch. The plates were generous and wait staff friendly. The reaction from the table was mixed regarding flavors of their individual dishes but not bad. Hence the 4. My pork ribs were delicious but the chicken not as enjoyable. Will most certainly return with a smaller group at a table where could watch a game or fight on TV.
