We had dinner here last night. Although it was very busy and the wait was over an hour, the food came out great and tasted amazing. Liza provided outstanding service — she was kind, patient, and very helpful. Thank you for the lovely experience!

Unfortunately, this venue has gone downhill significantly. The pub feels untidy and poorly maintained, with a general lack of care throughout the space. It doesn’t feel welcoming, and more importantly, it doesn’t feel safe. Customer service is very weak. Staff seem disengaged and only attentive to big-spending punters, while regular customers are largely ignored. There’s little sense of professionalism or crowd control, which adds to the uncomfortable atmosphere. The venue is also overrun with very young patrons who are clearly not there to enjoy the pub responsibly, and they end up ruining the experience for everyone else. It feels chaotic rather than social. On top of that, the hotel has been completely changed in a way that doesn’t suit the local demographic at all. Whatever direction management is trying to take, it feels forced and out of touch with the area and the people who actually live there. Overall, the Guildford Hotel has lost its identity as a local pub. Until cleanliness, safety, and customer service are taken seriously, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Their special nut falooda is legitimately the finest version I've tasted in this entire city after trying countless other shops over years. Everything from the vermicelli texture to ice cream quality to syrup sweetness level is calibrated perfectly for satisfaction.

Visited for lunch with family and was not disappointed. This place is a Western Sydney gem. Great interiors; with a bit of a retro 1920s vibe. Have booths to sit in as well as tables/chairs and a mini cocktail-like lounge area. Fish n' chips was probably the best I've had in Sydney. Great portion with fresh flavours. Chips had a good dousing of chicken salt with a nice crunch. Fish was lovely and the batter was light and pillowy. The salad was fresh and came with dressing; a welcome change from most establishments in Sydney. Service was relaxed and friendly. Everyone we met greeted us with a smile. Will definetely be back....

Absolutely love the Guildford Hotel! The new management has made such a noticeable difference the whole place feels refreshed and welcoming. The staff are always friendly, efficient, and genuinely go above and beyond every time I visit. The ambiance is great, whether you’re popping in for a quick drink or settling in for a meal. It’s officially my new go-to hotel. Highly recommend!
