Westmead Tavern

Beautiful, friendly, helpful staff. Great beer garden. Clean amenities. Bistro available. Very reasonable prices. Music. Pool tables. Walking distance from Westmead hospital. Great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place. 5 stars.

​I am extremely disappointed with the level of service at Westmead Tavern. We dealt with a staff member (male with curly hair) whose attitude was incredibly unprofessional and confrontational. ​When we approached him with a simple question regarding the facilities, he was dismissive and rude, essentially telling us to "fix it ourselves" because he had "already helped once." When my friend tried to clarify if the issue we were facing was a recurring problem, the staff member snapped back with, "Are you a regular here? I haven't seen you before." ​It shouldn't matter how often a customer visits; everyone deserves to be treated with basic decency. This staff member's high-and-mighty attitude is a major deterrent. It’s not about the money—we were happy to spend—it’s about the fact that he treated us like an inconvenience rather than paying guests. ​This tavern is clearly going downhill, and with staff this arrogant, it’s easy to see why.

I travel all over Sydney and when I want to wind down from a long day of work this place does it for me. Relaxed atmosphere and fantastic service. Especially Bibek and Anjana absolutely great at their jobs and I will spend my money here whenever I need a good drink food and to relax. Thanks you guys!

First time eating here since the new menu was implemented and we were impressed! Great portion sizes, delicious fresh cooked food. Will be visiting again. Only comment on the food was it would be nice to have a vegetarian option or two for a main. Service was speedy and friendly as always. Could do with a bit of a revamp inside but does the job

We had a good experience here. They served big portion of food and tasteful too. Staff area friendly. Cheap price. I will come back again.
