My sister and I came for an afternoon drink with a snack or two. The egg plant was good but the spinach puffs were a bit too salty. We had a bottle of Chardonnay which was reasonably priced. The best part is the service from Damen. He was absolutely attentive. We tipped him $20 to show our appreciation of his service. The only thing I would say is the wine list is minimal not much to choose from.

We ordered Garlic lemon chicken for fathers day lunch, It was an absolute ripp off, we paid $60.00 & got 12 tiny pieces of chicken, It worked out to be $5.00 per mouthful, "Disgusting amount" NEVER AGAIN, It`s such a shame. We called to complain & the manager didn`t even care. Be warned, So many other better places around with better value & better food! Seriously does the photo look like $60.00 dollars worth!!! Let me know if you don`t agree.

Honestly it was just okay. Fried kibbeh was average, fried cauliflower was underwhelming and flavourless. Mixed plate consisted of 3 skewers (chicken, lamb and kafteh) it also had 3 dips - garlic, hummus and baba ghanoush. Salad, chilli bread and lebanese bread were also included. Chicken was tender and juicy, kafteh was seasoned well and lamb was tough. Dips weren’t the best and salad didn’t have much flavour. The pickles on the table were beyond sour and the drinks weren’t as cold as they should have been. Customer service was okay. They served our food, didn’t really check in until the end of the meal, when it was time to pay. Honestly, it was an underwhelming experience. There were some highlights but not enough to bring me back or recommend.

Our second dining experience at Jbeil, which bought some authentic flavours and traditional lebanese cuisines on the menu. We had some great stand-out of dishes that were really delicious and fresh in flavours - tabouleh, samke harra, lamb on a bed of hummos, chilli chicken wings kafta skewers. Brilliant job on the kibbeh nayyeh. Suggestion - more rice in the stuffed vine leaves to give more plumpness and flavour of the spices and tomatoes. Overall, it was a fabulous night of indulgence with generous servings and friendly hospitality. We will look forward to coming again. Extra golden stars go to the lovely waitre/ss (Shu-ren-dah guessing with the spelling) who kindly accommodated for our last-minute booking. We truly appreciate you!

We hosted our son’s Christening/Birthday at JBeil in Kareela and the experience was absolutely flawless! From the moment we reached out, Antonella and Adam went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly before, during, and even after the event, calling to check in. Their attention to detail and genuine care for our guests were exceptional. The food was incredibly generous, and left everyone impressed, the venue was perfect for our occasion. Antonella and Adam’s professionalism, kindness, and efficiency made the evening unforgettable for us. Also a shout out to the lovely Ibby, who was also amazing in helping the day run smoothly.
