The Crest Hotel Sylvania

Great pub meals, good tables and service, easy with kids, lots of parking, also hosts trivia on a Monday night. Good week night specials. You can book a table but we've never had any issues showing up on a week night.

If I could give a MINUS 5 star rating I would. We played surveySays at The Crest Hotel in Sylvania last Wednesday and won a $75 voucher. There were no terms or restrictions written anywhere, yet when we tried to use it at the bar for a round of drinks, staff refused to honour it. The manager claimed it was only for food or the bottle shop (again not written anywhere) and was rude, dismissive, and rolled her eyes instead of helping. She also refused to provide any terms and conditions. If you’re going to offer prizes, honour them or clearly state the rules. False advertising and poor customer service isn’t a good look. After 18 years of supporting this venue, we won’t be returning. Disgraceful.

Was nice to drop in & see my old stomping ground from too long ago. Food was good, ceasar salad was very nice, chilli prawn spaghetti yum, steak sandwich a bit chewy but nice flavour. Enjoyed a bit of Pool. Place needs a little bit of tlc, the many buckets for the leaking roof isnt the best look

The service was decent, but the children’s menu had very limited options. My wife ordered the lamb souvlaki, and she really enjoyed it – it was fresh, colorful, and tasty. I, on the other hand, had the crispy skin pork belly, which was a huge disappointment. The skin wasn’t crispy at all; it was soft, dry, and rubbery. We were seated in a cubicle across from the kitchen window, and I couldn’t help but notice how often the microwave was used to reheat food – including mine.

Pretty good atmosphere, price is reasonable and food is quite good. Plenty of places to sit or stand and caters for large groups too. Watch out for the daily specials featured
