The big breakfast was fantastic........easily the best breakfast I have had anywhere in a very long time. Great juice and exceptional cappuccino. Thank you.
The coffee is the best in the area. The service is incredible and food options are a great mix of fresh, healthy and classic cafe options. Highly recommend.
Great place for quality coffee and food. They know their coffee when they have different beans for the type of coffee you ordered. Had their long black. It was nice medium roast with fruity after tones. Ordered their haloumi stack. The hash brown perfectly crisp and was not overcooked. Haloumi was great and love the texture. Egg was perfectly cooked and runny. Bacon cooked was nice fatty, not too crispy which how I like my bacon cooked. Love the bits of tomatoes and onion gives a different texture and flavour.
This eatery is located on the corner of Talavera Road and Lane Cove Road, Macquarie Park. They have really nice Chili Pork Rolls
The two dishes that we always try at a new cafe if available are the açai bowl and corn fritters. Unfortunately both were very underwhelming here. The açai was watery/runny with big chunks of icecubes still in it. Texture is a huge part of an açai bowl, and this was just not good at all, it was wet mush. One of the worst açai bowls I've ever had. The corn fritters were a bit better, however they were burned. I can't say I've ever had charred corn fritters before, but it makes the texture of eating them fairly unpleasant. I did appreciate that it came with two eggs though. Whilst the dish wasn't awful, it's one of the lowest rated corn fritters I've had at a cafe before. I enjoy a turmeric latte on occasion and tried it here, however it was very unusual with coconut oil and milk. I didnt factor this drink into my rating because it probably just isn't a drink for me, rather than being poorly made. The cafe itself is nice and the staff are friendly. It's a place suited to nearby office workers who have little choice of places to eat within walking distance so they begrudgingly make do with this cafe if they forget to bring their lunch.
