What people say
I love this park! Toilets are fine, the grass is well maintained and I love the recent change to dog park. There are benches and seats around, and it's never super busy. There is a footpath that can double as a running track around the block. I call this place Kookaburra Park because you can always hear or see kookaburras - in the trees, on the ground, or in the winter they'll sit on the soccer goalposts. It's a very wholesome place to come to for a bike ride, a walk, a play, to read or journal, or have a swing.
“This is a basic park that is great for spending time with family and serves as an excellent picnic spot. The open green spaces provide plenty of room for children to play, and there are several shaded areas for relaxation. You can bring your own food or enjoy snacks from nearby vendors. It’s a peaceful place to unwind and enjoy nature, making it perfect for a weekend outing or a casual afternoon with loved ones.”
Basic park, but great for families and dogs! Please note that the park isn't fully fenced-off, so keep an eye on both your kids and dogs. I also love the shade, with lots of trees, the seating, and the water fountain, for a quick drink.
Our local park features excellent amenities for parties and lots of parking available. The lawn is always immaculately maintained and Ryde council's recent footpath upgrade means that more people can now access the park with ease. I run around here quite often and you can often see people enjoying the facilities. Keep up the excellent work, Ryde Council.
Nice place for the kids - it has two slides, one big and one small, a swing, a see saw, a net area for the kids to clim, a circular swivel and a massive playground for the adults to walk around. Toilet are available and were clean. There is a barbecue which operates for 20 minutes - ample parking is available for 3 hours. If you want to go the Macquarie centre mall it is a 25 min walk. Overall 4 stars
