We had the pleasure of staying on site at Bendooley for a wedding recently, and it was faultless! The Homestead and cottages were beautiful, it was clear that every detail had been carefully thought out. Food at the wedding and breakfast at the Vine room each morning was delicious. The reception at the Stables was also soo fun - the venue space was beautiful and the staff always friendly and happy to help. Highly recommend a visit.

Stunning. 🤩 the food was such a highlight. Perfectly balanced and so many flavours. We love fine dining and this was such a joyful experience. The staff really made the night they were so bubbly and fun and wow compliments to the chef that was just a stunning meal. Zero complaints here. What a privilege it was to have so many choices as a vegan too! Thankyou. The sourdough is a must that was surprising there best sourdough I’ve ever had, the char! The crumb! The texture and that dukka it was paired with was on point. IDE gladly say this was one of my favourite restaurants in the highlands. We had a blast walking though the grounds too taking advantage of the epic gardens. We didn’t stay we just came for dinner

A Perfect Blend of Books, Vines, and incredible Food. We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. From the moment you walk past the massive "corkscrew and hammer" sculpture, you know you’re in for something unique. ​The Atmosphere: ​The Book Barn is easily one of the most atmospheric dining rooms I’ve ever seen. Eating surrounded by floor-to-ceiling bookshelves under those massive timber beams and rustic chandeliers creates a vibe that is both cozy and grand. It’s the perfect spot for a long, relaxed lunch. ​The Food & Drink ​The food was a highlight of our trip: ​The Blue Cheese Pizza: Perfectly thin, crispy crust topped with fresh rocket and pine nuts—light but full of flavor. ​The Pasta: We tried the linguine, which was beautifully presented with fresh herbs and micro-greens. You can tell they prioritize fresh, high-quality ingredients. ​The Wine: Being at a vineyard, the red wine was excellent and paired perfectly with the rustic Italian-style menu. ​Final Thoughts ​The grounds are beautiful for a stroll (even on a cloudy day, the stone buildings look great in photos), and the service was welcoming. Whether you are a book lover, a foodie, or just looking for a beautiful escape in the Southern Highlands. Thanks to the staff for their wonderful service, this place is a must-visit.😊

We had the delightful of visiting the Book Barn today for a first class experience. My wife and I came here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The staff are warm and friendly and helpful. The food and atmosphere is magnificent. We ordered the salmon, lamb and watermelon salad. They were all so special the chefs here are elite and you can tell they love what they do from the quality of the food. My wife said the salmon just keeps giving back as it was a large serving and perfectly cooked with the most delicious sauce. My lamb was next level with a delicious sauce and the watermelon salad just get it so memorable. The balance of salty and sweet with the lemon vinaigrette is a masterpiece. The whole experience was 10/10. Just make sure to book as they get busy. A wonderful day we will never forget.. thank you Bendooley Estate.

We could not have dreamed of a more magical setting for our wedding than The Stables at Bendooley Estate. From the very beginning, the team was incredibly transparent, helpful, and professional; it truly felt like they had our best interests at heart throughout the entire planning journey. A huge part of our wonderful experience was Kelly, who was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator she was there to guide us through every detail and made the entire process feel effortless and stress-free. We also have to give a special shout-out to Eva, who looked after us during our wedding tasting. She was incredible and made that part of the journey so memorable and special. The actual wedding day was nothing short of spectacular. If you have ever stepped foot inside The Stables, you know it is a venue that truly speaks for itself it is absolutely stunning and provides such a unique, rustic-luxe atmosphere. We received so many compliments from our guests about the beauty of the location and the quality of the service. The staff on the night were fantastic professional, attentive, and so lovely to deal with. They ensured everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to just soak in every moment. We cannot recommend Bendooley Estate enough to anyone looking for their dream wedding venue. Thank you, Bendooley, for making our day everything we imagined and more!
