Exceptional!!!! We had our work Christmas Party at URBNSURF where we hired a Cabana for the morning from Sandy's and had it catered, the pastries were heaven!!!! Staff were so lovely and accommodating everything was just easy. THEN Lunch at RAFI's wow! Just wow! The food was outstanding, everything was perfect, the atmosphere was so nice and relaxing with great music playing in the background but not canceling out the sound of the waves. Our whole Team agreed that this was by far the best Christmas Party we have had! Thank you so much Jane for Organising everything! It was made a breeze !
I found a new menu, Beef Rendang Bowl and I tried it last evening. Surprisingly, the meats are tender, not sweet and it is very tasty. I gave 8 points to this rendang as it is in a Medewi or Balinese style. While originally rendang is native dish from West Sumatera. This rendang bowl would satisfy anyone who missed for a tasty Indonesian food and some brown rice accompanying it. I truly recommend this new dish. Hopefully, the manager would have more of Indonesian or Balinese foods on their menus. Thank you very much for adding this new menu Sandy's Team. My husband loves your rendang too. I ate again, a few seconds ago (9 Dec 2025), we will take 2 other portions home. Actually the taste is getting better, very tasty, remind me of a very tasty Nasi Lemak from Malaysia. The portion was very satisfying. Overall grade point for the whole package, it could be 9 (from 1 to 10).
Sandys! The little joint that makes this whole place worth coming to, I have to say the ladies behind the bar know how to make you feel welcomed, amazing smiles and amazing service, there is something about digging into some snacks while having the sound of waves in the background, food is great, the drinks are great, they have heaters for the cold times and mist things for the hot times, I've been here on and off for about a year and I'm never dissapointed, the only downside is I cant surf 😀
Great place, amazing food and service. Love the spicy pineapple margarita it was amazing and the chicken bowl was the best. Love the service of Chloe and Cathy and Chef Edy food.
Good coffee. The meals are small - both in general and for the price. Both the burger and burrito were tasty but we were hungry afterwards. The chips are excellent but again the serve is stingy. Also served in takeaway packaging even if you are eating in which isn't exactly environmentally friendly. It is cool that you can watch the last round of surfing in the cafe.
