Colliery Inn Wallsend NSW

My usual go to, so upsetting to see the quality start to go down. First time ive ever been somewhat unhappy with the food Watery pepper sauce paired with an underwhelming schnitzel I write this solely for management to see and make the right comments to staff. Will happily change or delete when satisfied.

We were there Sunday 1st February to watch a band play there..very friendly staff and great customer service..stayed there for tea.. ..food was delicious and after tea my mother in law asked for a cup of coffee( machine wasn't on ) but Andrew said ...not a problem I'll get you a cuppa..now that's great customer service and we will all be back there again soon

Highly recommend this hotel for drinks and a meal. Good prices, great service. Friendly staff and patron's. Thanks to a win in the meat raffle, there's our dinner for another night. Till next time!

Given the choices to rate the pub, they don't really address the bistro. Anyhow, the steak sandwich I ordered via UberEATS was one of the best I have eaten in ages! Yes, it was dishevelled after delivery, however it was almost perfecto for me. A little more caramelised onion would have made it. Also, I didn't know it came with chips, so that was a bonus (and they were nice ones).

Spent a few days in Wallsend. Found our local! Andy (behind the bar was awesome) Locals seemed nice. Whole pub had a laid back vibe. Great place for a few beers. Highly recommend to anyone passing through.
