Sunnyside Tavern is a pub in Broadmeadow. It hasn't yet been confirmed as dog-friendly, so it's best to check with the venue before visiting.
Been coming here since 1979, as my local watering hole for several years after, and now after 30 yrs overseas on work assignments, i dropped in 4 times to have a beer. I have to agree with Melissa West, service cold as ice. And, i get charged a different price for the same beer every time, depending in who is serving and for me seems like how they perceive you. Real shame since its the place i used to drink at since i was legally allowed. Had many many a good time in the 80s with friendly staff and consistent service and all the locals. I haven't tried the food since ive come back but judging by the patronage, it must be pretty good. I just have a hard time patronizing a place that has such awful bar service staff, which is the essence of any service establishment.
Unsure on their meals, service was okay at the bar. I stopped in while getting car repaired. Beware of their pokies, they don’t pay anything. I was talking to a regular there and he said they never pay. Consumer beware is all I am saying. Looks like a good spot for a meal though.
Pretty good at doing pub classic meals. They used used to do really good veg sides with their steaks and schnitzel, but they just changed it to green beans only. Also would be good if they kept one area of the pub trivia free when that's on so you can sit and talk if you don't want to play. Otherwise, always a pretty friendly place.
Just love this pub , meals always good great variety and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. Location great.
Very good small hotel in a pub. The rooms were comfortable and we slept very well. The only downside was that there was no hairdryer, and the walls could use a bit more cleaning. Overall, a pleasant stay for cheap.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
