Sweetwater Tilba

A fun experience to be had if in Tilba Tilba in the second half of the week. The bar and rear terrace are complemented with lots of music posters and records, mostly of the American seventies. The accommodating proprietor can prepare a great coffee and hot croissants while entertaining the crowd. Watch out for weekend service charges.

Fun spot to stop for a cocktail. Staff welcoming. Sit inside or out. Great views.

WOW! What an incredible experience. Stepping into this space is both enticing and warmly welcoming. We went in and found looking through the various records, jackets, and retro bits and bobs for sale very interesting. We sat in the comfortable seats sourounding their stunning bar to enjoy a delicious, well-balanced coffee. Scroggy was such a vibrant character, sharing stories and jokes which filled us with joy and love for life! This is by far the most memorable coffee experience we've had, and the Sweetwater sticker is an exciting addition to our motorhome. I will take every opportunity to return often and look forward to trying some cocktails next time! The pork burger from Nancy's Deli food van on-site was amazing, also. I'd go as far as saying it was the best burger I've ever eaten. Thank you and see you next time!

Wonderful owner, Scroggy is SO KIND! Took ten minutes to explain off the trail tourist stops to us and write it all down for us. The place is fantastic, has a great atmosphere and he usually drives his beautiful truck to work and parks outside! Highly recommend stopping by and having something from here!

Superb dishes (get the pork belly and chicken gnocchi plus refreshing salad)... all fresh and made to perfection. Service is stellar (attentive, warm & friendly to us all and we were with our little kids - Chris & Glenn were so nice to adults and kids alike!) and the atmosphere was just awesome! This restaurant prides itself in the diners’ experience.. be it with friends or family. Great gem.. we’re stoked we found this place. Oh and the other diners were good fun too.. I think the vibe here just makes you happy and relaxed. Cocktails were great and if you’re a beer lover you’ll be spoilt with choice. Desserts were unique and the smokiness in the pineapple and plums elevated them). We’ll be back— thank you for a great night!
