Vandenberg Hotel Forbes

I have never experienced such a lack of basic human decency. Upon arrival, the rooms were old, noisy, and had a foul odor. Shortly after, I had a medical emergency that required a trip to the ER and forced me to return home immediately. I had already paid in full, but when a refund was requested due to these extreme circumstances, the manager’s response was: "If he didn't die, I can't help with the refund." > To be met with such hostility and heartlessness during a health crisis is unacceptable. Between the poor room conditions and the inhumane management, I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from this establishment.

Been there a couple of time there over the last couple of years. The service is 5 star the owners are very friendly and helpful they go out of there way to help food is beautiful. Friendly Atmosphere will be sure to go back there again when we are out that way again

Seven of us had a fantastic meal here during the Elvis Festival - seven different dishes from the menu and seven great meals at very attractive prices. Highly recommended when you are in Forbes

Wow what an amazing experience we had today. Called in for a wine and were treated to awesome bruschetta. Met the owner Sev who has made this country pub a must stop for any traveler.Had a very welcoming and chilled atmosphere. Went back for steak night and was the best steak we had eaten for a long time. Would recommend the pub to anyone.

We often travel long distances and pass through Forbes, but for once we stopped for a quick lunch at the Vandenberg Hotel. It had been a long time since we had stopped there, and we didn't know what to expect. What greeted us was a cheerful family oriented team willing to refresh us from the grind of driving. Friendly staff, fantastic service, and spectacular food - not your typical pub fare, but genuinely good food options. The atmosphere was relaxing, the smiles were genuine. It's going to be on our rest stop plans going forward for sure.
