Billy's Bar Espresso

We come here all the time. It's in the courtyard of Pacific Square, a busy, buzzy place. The egg wraps are great, the croissants are delicious and the coffee is excellent. Also, I love tea but rarely drink it out as it is often swill. They use real tea leaves here and the tea was great! Frankly harder to get than good coffee in Sydney. Happy service, always friendly. I like to people watch while I'm there. All in all, happy to go, happy to recommend.

I came to Billy's Bar Espresso with a group of friends one weekday afternoon and each of us enjoyed it. We came for drinks- coffee and hot chocolate. I really loved that the cafe was open late which is rare. It's so hard to go out for coffee after 3pm! The drinks were good. You can order at the counter and they are brought to your table when ready. Service was excellent. It was efficient, very friendly, warm, welcoming and fun.

Come here every week with th my mum and others. They stuffed up with my bacon and egg roll , twenty minutes later I asked the waitress, as others were after me and were served, I asked her to cancel the order, she came back with the money, no apology, nothing. Customer service, zero. Not her fault, she's ignorant, bad training, no smile no apology, nothing, take your money and get lost. It's not for the money or the food, I understand, mistakes happen, don't feed me crapolla.

One of the best cafe in eastern suburbs imo. Speaking about quality and taste of foods and drinks, I rated them 4/5. Plenty of choices that can be customized. Staff are always attentive and welcoming. Billys's is one of good things in the middle of chaos (the centrelink gang🤣).

Update - unfortunately service has gone downhill. Owner was at the register and doesn't allow swapping a single item from big breakfast. When I said that it has never been a problem before, her response was, "some of our staff do it but I'm one of the owners and we don't allow it". A shame when the casual staff have better customer service skills than the owner. However, the food is still good despite the drop in quality of service.
