Quarrymans Hotel

This is a great pub in the heart of Pyrmont. Lovely inside, plenty of tables, a nice litte beer garden out back and a cool little rooftop bar open after 12pm. There is a fantastic range of craft beers - from lagers to IPAs. Happy hour is 4pm-6pm weekdays which is great too. We didn't try the food but it does look good. Highly recommended pub - I would go every week if I lived in Sydney.

The Q is a great strategic pitstop if you’re looking for craft beer in Pyrmont. It’s a short walk up from Darling Harbour and also the Fish Markets. A revolving tap list which caters for all tastes - from the tame to the insane. In quiet times the staff are happy to talk brews with you and if you make it all the way up to the rooftop you can hang out with the cacti. I personally prefer the little beer garden or just hanging out in the saloon style front bar.

We reserved a rooftop space for some dinner before a nearby concert and the area on top of this historic pub was a great space to enjoy some time with friends and a couple of drinks and dinner. The food was delicious and was quite quick from time of order to table service. It was great to have a bar at the top level as well rather than go downstairs for ordering. The options of drinks was vast and a great cocktail menu - favoured by the girls with us for sure. As we were wrapping up dinner it did begin to rain however we just moved inside to a lounge area that was also very comfortable. The staff were helpful and pleasant as well - great work guys.

Went there for their Sunday roast. I would like to think that the cow died happy knowing how well it was cooked. I still gave it 5 stars even thought there was no Yorkshire pudding..Just a visitor to Sydney,but I will be going back there for sure.

I've been going to the Quarryman Hotel for around 10 years now, and we decided to have our wedding reception there in their level 1 lounge. From the beginning of the booking process to the actual day, the service was incredible. Responses to my emails were very prompt, and all my questions (even my annoying little ones!) were answered with kindness. As there was no booking the day before, they gave us the freedom and time to decorate the space as we liked, and kept everything safe and clean until the big day. The canapés were absolutely amazing and a huge hit, and the bar/food service was incredible. All our guests were incredibly impressed, and the QM played a huge role in our special day feeling perfect.
