I have been to many Italian restaurants in my time, but Piccolo Roma have stolen the spotlight. The food was excellent and so full of flavour, I haven’t experienced flavours like that in a long time. I had the passion fruit spritzer which I was told was new to the menu and my word was that one of the most exciting drinks I’ve had. The service and staff are impeccable and went above and beyond to ensure my friends and I were well catered to. Truly a gem of a restaurant in Sydney. Well done 👍 I look forward to coming back soon!!

Food-wise, it was okay and standard. The highlight was definitely the service. The owner was hands-on and serving guests personally is super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate. That really stood out.

I went to Piccolo Roma today on Lady Gagas concert where it was super busy in the restaurant - everyone was out for the big concert, every table was taken, and yet this place had an amazing vibe and felt calm and welcoming the moment we stepped inside. Right away, Russell, our waiter, set the tone for the whole night. He was incredible; even with the how busy they were, he was relaxed, upbeat, and made us feel like we were the only table in the room. That kind of service is rare, and he absolutely nailed it. Then the food came out… and I still don’t have the right words. It wasn’t just good it was the kind of food where you take one bite and just stop talking for a moment because your brain is processing how good it is. Every dish tasted like they genuinely cared about what they were making. You can see Melissa, the owner, influence everywhere in the atmosphere, in the menu, in the way the staff work together. There’s a sense of pride in the whole place, and it shows. Even on a night that could’ve easily been stressful, she ran the restaurant with confidence and warmth. By the time we left, the crowd outside was still huge. It’s not often you walk out of a restaurant already planning your next visit, but that’s exactly what happened. Huge credit to Melissa, and shoutout to Russell they turned a hectic night into one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in ages. 💛

lovely food! The calamari was delicious and the Greek salad was just the same. Excellent stuff!

We visited today without a reservation, and the manager, Melissa, kindly arranged a table for us. We are very grateful for her help. She was exceptionally professional, attentive, and truly remarkable. The young woman who brought us Melissa to take our order and who looked after our service throughout the dinner was wonderful. We believe her name is Hannah. She was very friendly and even asked us about the concert we were going to, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. The food was outstanding. The presentation was incredibly beautiful, and the flavor was exceptionally good. Every dish showed great care and quality. We will definitely come back. And if we return on a concert night, we will be sure to reserve a table. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience.
