Sylvania Bowling Club is a bowling club where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
The owner is incredibly rude. They are overcharging for extras, but not taking off what you take off when I approached her. She said she couldn’t care less . go somewhere else. This type of service is unacceptable. It’s a bowling club in the back of nowhere and you’re charging restaurant prices the least they could do is have a better attitude.
Bistro on Holt is a welcoming space where you are greeted with beautiful customer service and food. I have had the pleasure of dining here frequently, whether it's a Saturday lunch or dinner it's perfect for all families. Ramona has been an immensely caring and accommodating owner. Her catering which is also afordable for my events has been outstanding and all guests have raved about the food and atmosphere. Can absolutely recommend Ramona and her team!
Held my sons third birthday at Sylvania Bowling Club – highly recommend. Kids were very happy running around which meant that parents could actually chat and enjoy themselves as well. We organised food in advance through Ramona the event manager. She was very easy to deal with and went above and beyond for us. Mezze plate was gorgeous and everybody loved it! Thank you so much team and we will definitely be back for future family events. Steph
Went for dinner with my in laws as this is their new local. We meet the gorgeous owner of bistro on Holt. She was so accommodating and a breathe of fresh air. I ordered the Perch as my in laws said it's their fav dish on the menu and that's what they ordered it came with juicy huge prawns and wow the Perch was cooked perfectly so light and tasty. Hubby went with the seafood linguinie the prawns again fat and juicy.. Bro in law went Greek with the chicken souvlaki. We shared bottle of red and bubbles. Food and atmosphere was great. The ladies that worked in the main bar were fabulous and friendly. I wish I lived closer because I'd be there almost everyday.
Located at 22 Holt Road, Sylvania, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 I had an average experience here. Not sure I would recommend based on the service, not the food. I had the prawn linguine which cost $30. I thought this was quite expensive considering it was a very small meal size. It was also quite a wait for my meal to arrive and also the rest of our group. People were waiting a long time for their meal to arrive. We came here on a Saturday lunch time and there was a baby shower party at the same time. Maybe this affected our service, who knows 🤷♀️. Add in the fact, the Roast Pork that was advertised on the ‘SPECIAL’ board was not available because they had run out AT the BEGINNING of the lunch time service (before anyone had even ordered). Saying this , my meal was delicious 😋. The club itself is pretty dated, could maybe use a bit of a touch up. The staff were pleasant, but not overly welcoming. So I have definitely had better service and food for cheaper prices and the the service definitely needed improvement. Today, we came back and the service still has a lot to be desired. The woman in the Bistro obviously doesn’t know how to smile and would not make coffee for our group because she was the only one serving. If we wanted coffee, we had to go into the bar, which tastes nowhere as good. We were booked in so management knew they were going to have quite a large group and other groups so they should have put more staff on.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
