Went to a sunset sounds concert in March 2026,even though it was busy the whole place was extremely well organised. The food came out quickly, friendly customer service, heaps of staff also… Made for a really enjoyable evening

I had a really disappointing experience here. The prices are completely unreasonable for what you actually get. Everything on the menu is extremely expensive, and the quality definitely doesn’t match the cost. Honestly, $24 for a pint of hard rated! It cost $23.99 for an 4 pack at the bottle-o! Unbelievable. What made the experience worse was the service. We waited around 40 minutes just for our drinks, which is unacceptable, especially when the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. No one checked in with us or apologized for the delay. For the prices they charge, you would expect much better service and efficiency. Unfortunately, this place feels like it’s charging premium prices without delivering a premium experience. I wouldn’t come back or recommend it.

Apparently a new chef has started and there is a very clear difference in the food. Toronto Hotel should be mortified to charge $32 for the seafood marinara I received. Pasta was overcooked and would fall apart on the fork - all pasta dishes being served with penne is a very odd choice. Seafood very clearly not cooked in the sauce, which I hazard a guess is also used for the vegetarian pasta. Sauce flavour too heavy for the seafood. Prawns strangely had an almost bitterness to them (I imagine they were brined in bicarb to make them more plump?), mussels served out of shell and barely any squid. Seafood all overcooked. The strangest part was it was garnished with coriander. I picked that garbage seafood out so I could at least get some protein, but the penne was a complete waste of my time, so the meal was barely eaten in the end. I've had pasta bakes that tasted better and I won't be returning while the kitchen is being run so poorly. Notified staff about the poor quality of meal, who were very kind. Unfortunately this is a kitchen problem.

One of my favourite places to visit. The service, food and entertainment is never a disappointment. Worth visiting for a reasonable price meal with an amazing view. I have been visiting this venue for 10 year as a regular patron. I have attended many amazing concerts. Mulberry bar, functions, family cuttings. The kids live the jumping castle. The cocktail selection is amazing 👏 The food is high end on a beer budget! Management knows your name and staff remember your drink. You have big screens for entertainment. Dedicated smoking area away from children Indoor out door seat8ng with panoramic views of our beautiful lake macquarie. I rate this venue the best in our region. Regards to management Christel clear cleaning. Your regular. ❤️

Can't comment on rooms. I took 4 very elderly ladies for lunch. Average age 89. We ate inside in the carpeted area around a big round table. Perfect for lunch and it was easy for them to talk and hear. However, since there is no table service it would have been impossible for them to go alone as their lack of mobility would have meant they couldn't have walked up counter to order and then returned again to get their order. If the staff had offered assistance and come to our table even just to bring our meals it would have been a lot easier. They were not busy so would not have been hard. The junction tavern manage to do this for the oldies, it was ashame they didn't do this at Toronto. All our meals were lovely.
